We are hiring a Front End Accessibility Engineer  to work on a pivotal Federal program that is making a positive impact on millions of Americans' daily lives. 

What you'll be doing:

Working hand in hand with other engineers in building out interfaces that match designs. These interfaces consume and create data from the backend. Your input will help drive the direction and format of data endpoints and your day to day efforts will include communicating architecture choices to other team members.

What you’ll bring:

  • 3+ years experience working with React and Javascript
  • Experience with Typescript, Docker, GraphQL, Cypress, and Git a plus
  • A thorough understanding of Section 508 of the American with Disabilities Act (ADA)
  • Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.2) accessibility standards and guidelines
  • Accessibility Certification: CPACC or WAS
  • Familiarity with screen readers, keyboard navigation, and other assistive technologies
  • Ability to perform accessibility audits of web components, and mobile applications
  • The ability to write code that is a pleasure for other engineers to read and understand easily
  • Expertise in designing, developing, coding, testing, and debugging user interfaces and web application components 
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment with sprints and daily stand-ups
  • The ability to review  and evaluate systems and software for adherence to government directives, standards, and guidelines

Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen and able to work domestically 
  • Must be able to attain low-level security clearance

Compensation:

At Wilcore, it’s important each employee is compensated competitively and fairly. In alignment with state legal requirements. A range for the included position is listed below. Be advised, actual offer details are determined by job category, job location, and candidate skill level.

United States Wage Range: $110,000 – $140,000

This role reports to the team at Wilcore Technologies, a joint venture created by Oddball.
