Position Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven Retail Sales Director to lead the charge of selling Swiftly’s Audience Optimizer solution to retail partners. This role is ideal for a strategic, high-performing sales leader who thrives in a fast-paced, tech-forward environment and is passionate about transforming the retail media landscape.
While the role is primarily remote, there will be frequent virtual meetings and client interaction.
Occasional travel may be required for meetings and events.
Responsibilities Include:Drive the full sales cycle for retail media campaigns—from prospecting to closing—ensuring swift execution and sustainable revenue growthSell Swiftly’s digital ad solutions to retail partners by highlighting performance-driven outcomes across app, web, and omnichannel platformsBuild a robust pipeline of retail media opportunities, with a focus on securing high-value advertising partnershipsDevelop strong relationships with key marketing and media decision-makers within retail organizations, acting as a strategic advisor for monetizing their digital real estateCraft tailored media proposals and campaign strategies that align with retailer goals and demonstrate measurable ROIDeliver impactful presentations and demos that clearly convey the value of Swiftly’s media capabilities and targeting solutionsCollaborate with cross-functional teams—especially marketing, ad operations, and product—to ensure smooth campaign onboarding and executionUse data and insights to optimize sales strategy and inform campaign recommendations, staying ahead of retail media trendsAccurately forecast and report sales performance using Salesforce and other sales enablement toolsMaintain an expert-level understanding of the retail media ecosystem and Swiftly’s competitive positioning within itOther duties as assigned Required Qualifications:5–7+ years of experience selling digital advertising, media solutions, or adtech platforms, with a strong preference for retail media experienceA proven track record of meeting and exceeding quotas by selling digital media campaigns to retail clientsDeep understanding of the retail industry’s advertising and shopper marketing landscapeStrong ability to develop, pitch, and close performance-based media dealsSkilled in building and nurturing relationships with senior-level retail marketers, brand advertisers, and agency partnersProficiency in CRM tools like Salesforce, with the discipline to maintain accurate pipeline data and forecastsStrategic thinker with exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skillsComfortable operating in a fast-moving, high-growth environment, with the ability to prioritize and pivot as neededAdvanced computer software proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Salesforce)High level of expertise in analyzing information and making information-based recommendationsPreferred Qualifications:Retail media sales experience is a plusFamiliarity with e-commerce, digital advertising, and adtech solutions#LI-Remote
