AWS Connect Engineer

Primary Skills & Qualifications:

· Amazon Connect Expertise: Strong understanding of Amazon Connect Services as 90% of the work will be on the Amazon Connect side, including setting up contact flows, managing routing, and configuring AWS Connect.

· AWS Services Knowledge: Good knowledge of core AWS services, especially serverless services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, Kinesis, IAM, and CloudWatch.

· Infrastructure as Code (IAC): Experience with Terraform for provisioning AWS resources.

· Programming Skills: Strong experience in Node.js for developing and maintaining serverless applications, Lambda functions, and integrations.

· CloudWatch & Monitoring: Experience with CloudWatch for monitoring and logging, ensuring solutions are performing optimally.

· Design Flow & Contact Flows: Experience supporting the creation and generation of design flows for AWS Connect contact centers.

Secondary/Good-to-Have Skills:

· Salesforce Knowledge: Understanding of Salesforce can be an added advantage, especially in integrating AWS Connect with Salesforce for CRM-related functionalities.

· Lex Bot Integration: Knowledge of Amazon Lex (for voice support and chatbot functionality) is preferred. CI/CD & Git Workflow Awareness: Familiarity with Git workflows for version control and understanding of CI/CD pipelines for deployment is a plus.

· Python Programming: Python programming skills are desirable for additional development and automation tasks

Education & Certifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

· AWS Certifications (preferred):

· AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate

· AWS Certified Developer – Associate

· AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional (or equivalent)
