Job description

This is a remote position.

BrightMarbles Group is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our small but dedicated DevOps team in Novi Sad. As part of an international tech group with offices across the Netherlands, Serbia, and North Macedonia, you’ll work on exciting projects that push the boundaries of cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and platform scalability.

You won’t be building things from scratch, but you will have plenty of autonomy to bring your own ideas, take ownership of parts of our stack, and actively shape how we do DevOps moving forward. What You’ll Be Working On

Infrastructure as Code (primarily Terraform)
Designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Nx)
Dockerizing services and improving build/deployment processes
Managing and scaling multi-cloud infrastructure (with a preference for AWS)
Implementing and improving observability (logs, metrics, monitoring)
Supporting development teams and keeping systems stable, scalable, and secure

Requirements

Must-Haves:

2–4 years of hands-on experience in DevOps or related engineering roles
Strong skills with Docker, Linux, and GitHub Actions
Solid experience managing cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred; Azure or GCP also welcome)
Scripting knowledge in bash, Python, or Node.js
A pragmatic approach to problem-solving, with a mindset that challenges the status quo

Nice-to-Haves:

AWS or Azure certifications
Experience working in startup or fast-moving product teams
Familiarity with monorepo setups (Nx or similar)
