Job description

This is a remote position.

This request seeks experienced GIS resources to develop, implement, and maintain a robust Enterprise GIS system for the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LaDOTD). Resources will design and build GIS-based solutions for data extraction, translation, collection, analysis, visualization, and reporting. This includes creating interactive dashboards and web mapping applications.

All Positions are required to be available for in-person meetings at the Louisiana DOTD Headquarters and other State Facilities as required by the agency and its staff within 24 hours’ notice.

Resource is located within a 90 mile radius of DOTD HQ or
Domiciled in Louisiana
Travel throughout the State to support DOTDs Local Government Road Data Sharing initiative

Requirements

Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory:

ESRIs Suite of Desktop and Enterprise Software

Usage and development of Desktop software (ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Pro)
Deployment and implementation of ESRIs Enterprise for ArcGIS platform

Configuration and development of web applications
Publishing of web services

Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are desirable but not mandatory:

Development and implementation of ESRIs Roads and Highways Linear Referencing System
Leveraging Safe Software’s FME Enterprise subscription

FME Form for workflow process development
FME Flow for automation of workflows

Deployment of VertiGIS Studio for enhancement of ESRIs Enterprise for ArcGIS platform
Deployment, development, configuration and implementation of HPMS and SLD Manager software
