This is a remote position.

Schedule:

  • 40 paid hours per week
  • We will need 2x assistants for this position.
    • Assistant 1: Monday-Friday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM PST
    • Assistant 2: Friday-Tuesday: 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM PST

Job Description

Using state-of-the-art healthcare systems like Simple Practice EMR and RingCentral, you’ll handle everything from patient scheduling to insurance processing. This role offers the perfect blend of healthcare administration, customer service, and technical expertise, all while working from the comfort of your home office.

Responsibilities
  • Manage patient appointments and scheduling using modern EMR systems
  • Process insurance verifications and handle benefits inquiries
  • Provide exceptional customer service through phone and digital communications
  • Perform accurate data entry and maintenance in electronic health records
  • Handle revenue cycle management tasks including payment processing
  • Reconcile insurance payments and maintain financial records
  • Follow up on outstanding claims and resolve billing issues
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure smooth practice operations
  • Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
  • Support overall practice efficiency through organized administrative processes
Requirements
  • 3+ years of healthcare administrative experience required
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong proficiency in EMR/EHR systems
  • HIPAA compliance certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Proven experience in insurance verification and claims processing
  • Professional home office setup with reliable computer equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
