Job description

This is a remote position.

Our client is looking for a skilled Business Analyst to support the Digital Shared Services initiative. The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating improvements in healthcare delivery through the use of innovative information and communication technology solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, document business processes, and contribute to the development of technology-enabled solutions that drive efficiency and enhance the overall healthcare experience.

Requirements
  • Certification in PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum (at least one is required)

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Business Analyst on large-scale IT or healthcare-related projects

  • Demonstrated experience in:

    • Gathering and documenting business and technical requirements

    • Facilitating workshops, interviews, and stakeholder meetings

    • Developing business process models and use cases

    • Collaborating with project managers, developers, and testers

  • Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Understanding of PHI/PHIA compliance, or willingness to learn

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience working on provincial or large-scale healthcare IT systems

  • Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) or health information systems

  • Knowledge of clinical workflows or healthcare delivery models

  • Experience working with Digital Health or government healthcare organizations

  • Familiarity with privacy and security policies in a healthcare setting
