Job Purpose

The Graphic Designer is responsible for creative and design production for Methodist Health System, including print and digital assets.
Supports the mission, vision, values and strategic goals of Methodist Health System.

Job Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design preferred

Licenses and/or Certifications:

Work Experience:

3 Years of digital graphic design experience including web graphics and promotional materials
3 years of experience with Font Management and pre-press printing production
3 Years of experience creating digital layouts and artwork

Related Work Experience and Other Skills:

Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Adobe Indesign, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.

Job Roles:

Responsible for assigned graphic design projects on behalf of Methodist Health System, including print and digital assets for both public and internal audiences. Projects may include educational brochures, flyers, event collateral, website graphics, email banners, etc.
Communicate professionally and effectively with other departments within the organization.
Work closely with the Graphic Design Project Manager to coordinate and deliver graphic design job requests within the department’s standard turnaround time.
Work within the brand guidelines established jointly between department leadership and agency of record.
Collaborate closely with creative teammates, including Graphic Design Project Manager, freelance designers, translation services, printing company, etc.
Performs any special projects assigned by management team.
Other duties as assigned.
