Sr. Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

RYZ Labs is seeking a Sr. Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team and collaborate with one of our partners. In this role, you will drive the automation of cloud solutions, develop infrastructure-as-code templates, and optimize processes for efficient resource usage.

Responsibilities:

- Focus on automation and infrastructure as code, using tools like Terraform to enable rapid deployment through reusable configurations.

- Gain experience with ecosystem server deployment and work on disaster recovery implementation with minimal manual intervention.

- Implement automation for provisioning and scaling, utilizing scripting languages such as Python, Go, and Bash.

- Lead cloud-related initiatives, offering technical expertise and aligning objectives with cross-functional teams, including the IT organization.

- Deploy and refine observability solutions to ensure high availability and proactive monitoring.

- Experience with Large-Scale Integrations

- Experience in Terraform as a Service Provider

- Collaborate on integrating services from third-party vendors.

- Optimize resource management by retiring unused resources and enhancing transparency in cloud spending.

- Integrate security best practices into infrastructure designs and conduct compliance reviews.

- Stay informed about emerging cloud technologies and propose system enhancements for robustness and efficiency.

Qualifications:

- Over 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or related fields.

- Proven expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and familiarity with some Amazon Web Services (AWS) services.

- Experience with tools like Terraform and Ansible.

- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for application deployment.

- Strong scripting skills in Python, Go, Bash, or related languages.

- Practical experience in monitoring and optimizing cloud expenditures.

- Excellent communication, initiative, and collaboration skills.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
