Job description

Position Title

Azure DevOps Platform Configuration and support


 Senior Level - Architect or Project  Manager

Security Clearance

Yes.  Remote but in Canada required.

 

Contract Length

One-month contract with extension possibilities

Tasks

  • Develop, implement, and support work management processes and performance reporting for OAS Azure DevOps platform
  • Create and implement proof of concept for more efficient ways of working- delivery and PMO processes implementation and performance reporting, including support for migration
  • Provide general platform support – configuration, access management, and issue resolution
  • Knowledge transfer of material to crown staff to facilitate management and future developments of tools.
  • Requirement gathering, design, analysis, development, data integration, deployment, and support of ADO.
  • Aggregation of data from multiple databases and other data sources required to complete the development of reports and dashboards.
  • Design and development of required data analytics such as reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
  • Work with the internal team to evaluate data, files, and processes to support of consistent use of tools across teams
  • Provide demonstrations to teams on the set-up of ADO.
  • Provide advise on how to best leverage ADO on BDM project requirements.
  • Provide general support, including configuration, access management and issue resolution

About the role

 

The ADO interface to be developed and maintained by the contractor will have the following features and capabilities:

 

  • Work items, boards, sprints, queries, delivery plans, management dashboards, and custom reports developed based on user requirements which can be accessed by multiple users on multiple devices.
  • Ability for end-users to manipulate and update data and analyze reports and dashboards
  • Ability to allow end-users to maintain and manage their data in a standardized way and based on industry standard practices
  • Ability to defined user groups to access ADO to drive decision-making.
  • Ability for end-users to track and identify baseline targets, changes, forecasts, and actuals .
  • Ability for end-users to be alerted to abnormal or unacceptable circumstances when key metrices fall outside predefined parameters.
  • Automated notifications to users for work items that meet pre-defined criteria.
  • Quality assurance will be carried out extensively on the tools. Bugs will be identified, tracked and resolved.
  • Any other deliverable related to the tasks identified under Tasks, on an ‘as and when requested’ basis, as specified by the project authority.
