Product Owner

We are looking for a Product Owner who will focus on maximizing the value of the product delivered by the development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible to ensure the product aligns with customer needs, business goals, and overall strategy. Unlike a Project Manager, this position is not centered on managing timelines and resources.

😎What you’ll do:

• Define and communicate a clear product vision aligned with company objectives and customer needs.
• Run discovery meetings with stakeholders, designers, and engineers to gather insights and translate business needs into Epics and User Stories.
• Own and manage the product backlog, balancing stakeholder demands, technical constraints, and user needs to prioritize high-value features.
• Participate in stand-ups, sprint planning, grooming, retrospectives, and demos, ensuring alignment and collaboration between teams.
• Validate ideas and features through continuous iteration and experimentation, using analytics and direct customer feedback to guide decisions.
• Facilitate communication between business and technical teams, acting as the bridge to ensure a shared understanding of objectives.
• Support design reviews by clarifying task details and user requirements.
• Analyze user behavior data to identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation.
• Make tough trade-off decisions to ensure delivery of the most valuable product features within time and resource constraints.
• Continuously balance stakeholder demands, technical constraints, and user needs.
• Understand customer pain points through research, analytics, and direct engagement.

✅ What you’ll need:

• A degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Product Owner, with a track record of delivering customer-centric products.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and practical experience with Scrum frameworks.
• Develop a deep understanding of customer behavior by leveraging data and researching the product’s market.
• Ability to define success metrics and use data-driven approaches for decision-making.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and presentation skills in English.
• Demonstrate independent critical thinking and take actions that add value or align with the product vision.
• Embrace an experimental mindset, leveraging rapid prototyping and iteration.
• Availability to work full-time from any time zone in the Americas.

💻Technologies and tools:

• Jira: Ticket management and workflow configuration.
• Confluence: Solid understanding for handling daily tasks such as plan and map priorities, features and tickets. 
• Figma: Basic understanding to collaborate with design teams.
• Analytics tools for monitoring user behavior and measuring feature success, like Hotjar and Google Analytics.
