We are looking for an Engineering Manager who wants to join and lead our Adoption team (team Adore). Whether it's AI-driven solutions that simplify n8n, initiatives that spin the growth loop faster, or features that the n8n community loves, Team Adore focuses on boosting adoption, activation, and retention, ensuring users fall in love with n8n more deeply and effortlessly.
Your responsibilities
Act as a leader, fostering a culture of innovation, experimentation, engineering excellence, and learning within the engineering team, while also contributing to improving engineering culture and best practices.
Drive architectural decisions and ensure high-quality standards as well as spending around 20% of your time still being hands on.
Collaborate closely with Product, Design and the rest of the engineering teams to drive n8n forward to ultimately build an amazing product.
Requirements
Experience leading and developing a high performing engineering team with a desire to still be hands on and code.
You are a builder both of teams and products at heart. You deeply care about the end user, making sure that the rest of the team does too.
Demonstrate an agile mindset, proactiveness, and adaptability to changing priorities, with a strong emphasis on iterative problem-solving.
Strong proficiency in Node.js & Typescript, with at least 5 years of experience, preferably on a cutting-edge tech product
Solid skills in relational database design, SQL programming (SQLite, PostgreSQL)
Extra credit:
Familiarity with cloud computing (Docker, Kubernetes), DevOps knowledge, and/or experience with Vue.js
