Job Summary:

This posting will establish and maintain a pool of Lecturers from which future appointments to temporary, non-tenure-track positions will be made. Appointments will be part-time (less than 50% FTE) and will be made semester-by-semester, as teaching needs arise.

Description

The Business School at the University of Colorado Denver (CU Denver) is seeking a Lecturer in the Entrepreneurship Program from which future appointments to temporary, non-tenure-track positions will be made. Appointments will be part-time (less than 50% FTE) and will be made semester-by-semester as needed. The Lecturer selected will teach classes in the Business School at the University of Colorado Denver. Classes taught will generally be limited to three credit hours. These may include lectures in all teaching modes (in person, hybrid, online, remote). Compensation is $6,000 per undergraduate level course and up to $7,500 ($6,000 per course with 12-20 students, $7,500 per course with 21+ students) per graduate level course.

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.

Undergrad courses: a master’s in business or a related program OR an unrelated master’s degree plus relevant industry experience. Graduate courses: a Ph.D. OR master’s in business or a related program plus 10 years of industry experience. Recent significant professional, technical, or managerial experience in the discipline related to the teaching assignment; at a minimum, significant experience is interpreted as at least ten years of duties and responsibilities.

Prior teaching experience.
