Position Description
QIAGEN AB is recruiting an Inside Sales Representative for Norway. In this home-based position you will connect with customers remotely as well as collaborating closely with the rest of the Nordics sales team.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintain contact with existing customers as well as develop new customers in order to achieve or exceed sales objectives. Partner with the sales team for the purpose of lead sharing and revenue optimization. Ensure effective communication across the organization and to customers.
- Achieve or exceed objectives by actively selling to end users primarily via the telephone or digital channels. Develop a working knowledge of current and potential activities that may affect revenues. Utilize pre-call planning for increased effectiveness.
- Take a crucial role in tender work in collaboration with the sales team.
- Act as a champion for certain business areas.
- Utilize the CRM database to input and provide information that will increase effectiveness and aid sales.
- Work closely with the sales team and be the key player in the team for administrative tasks e.g. quoting, frame agreements, follow deliveries and general reporting.
Position Requirements
- Scientific background – minimum BSc preferred or proven aptitude for laboratory techniques. Knowledge in molecular biology.
- Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills in Norwegian and English at all business levels.
- Sales experience within Molecular Diagnostics and Life Science business is an advantage.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in team with field sales representatives and application specialists.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with a predilection for administrative tasks.
- Experience of creating and executing strategic business plans in a proactive manner to accomplish the planned goals, whilst prioritizing urgent tasks where required.
- Home-office set-up with availability for occasional travel to visit customers in person as well as for internal meetings and trainings.
