Job description

At DLL the Corporate Data Delivery team is assigned to maintain and extend the IT Corporate data solutions, which exist out of the Enterprise Datawarehouse and various reporting solutions.

Being part of an Epic (scrum) team, you will, after having analyzed the global business data requirements, build the data model, data collection of local - and regional source data and distribute unified corporate data.

Day To Day

  • Review user stories (requirements) in close alignment with the PO and the team
  • Support Solution Architect in creating solution visions
  • Facilitate data modeling workshops and create the data model as a result
  • Review solution designs and data models, with the team.
  • Build the solutions according to the designs and guidelines
  • Embedding IT requirements, security, compliance and non-functional requirements – and considering architectural landscape and target state.
  • As a team player help where needed to get the job done
  • Be involved in test activities, check whether built solution fulfills agreed acceptance criteria
  • Ensures that the deliveries of the team are supported with proper documentation

Essentials

  • Msc or Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 3+ years development experience with Data Modelling and building ETL in Azure
  • 5+ years experience with SQL
  • 5+ years experience with
  • 1+ Experienced in DataBricks, Python, Informatica
  • Has well developed communication skills in talking to business users to gather data requirements, understand their issues. Can ask 5 times why to find the real problem to solve.
  • Can switch from details to the bigger picture and back.
  • Understand user requirements as part of a team and able to raise questions (via User stories).
  • Can facilitate workshops with business to define process, requirements, and impact on current way of working.
  • Can set priorities or challenge priorities.
  • Has a can-do mentality.
  • Speaks/writes English fluently.
