Key responsabilities:

  • Generate recurring revenue numbers for the assigned territory and meet service sales targets.
  • Provide technical service and support to customers, ensuring timely responses to calls and completing scheduled PMs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to enhance satisfaction and generate leads.
  • Plan and execute installation, commissioning, and demo activities as assigned, while maintaining discipline in CRM usage.

Reporting to the Assistant Zonal Manager - Services & Spares Sales East , the Service & Spares Sales Engineer is responsible for generating recurring revenue numbers for the assigned territory, providing technical service and support customers. We are looking for a candidate with strong technical proficiency, cross-functional collaboration skills with scalability.

This position is part of the Sales Department located in Pune Location and will be on-site on field.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Ensure the response and turn around time on calls assigned are met
  • Complete all the PM’s as per schedule
  • Plan and execute all the I &C and demo activities allotted
  • Develop good relationship with customers to enhance the satisfaction levels
  • Generate leads by interacting with the customers and pass on through the Marketing Teams
  • Meet service sales targets to achieve the monthly, quarterly and annual financial targets of operating revenue
  • Discipline on CRM packages of Service Max and SFDC


The essential requirements of the job include:

  • 3-4 years’ experience with a degree in Engineering / Diploma preferably having worked on Hach / similar products
  • Willingness to relocate across India basis job / company priorities
  • Willingness to travel
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English
  • An eye for detail
  • Teamwork and ability to work across cultures, locations, and business teams
  • Expertise in MS Excel & MS Word
  • Proactive and action-oriented
  • Self-motivated with a passion for driving business growth in a rapidly evolving market
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to develop innovative solutions to meet customer needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain customer relationships
