Job Description
Oversee the company's legal affairs and ensure all business operations adhere to applicable laws and regulations.
Draft, negotiate and review complex contracts related to various business activities.
Provide legal advice to management on all relevant issues.
Liaise with external legal advisors as required.
Develop and manage the legal department budget.
Implement and manage an effective legal compliance program.
Develop company policy and position on legal issues.
Research and anticipate unique legal issues that could impact the company.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Legal Manager should have:
A Law degree from a recognised university.
Proven experience in a similar role in the FMCG industry.
In-depth understanding of how legal issues affect organisations.
Ability to develop legal strategy and objectives.
Excellent judgement and analytical skills.
High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
