Job Description
Collaborate with stakeholders to align operations with financial goals and provide strategic business partnering.
Support innovation and operational projects by delivering financial analysis, ROI assessments, and cost evaluations.
Contribute to forecasting and budgeting processes across departments.
Lead month-end and year-end reporting and engage stakeholders with insights and recommendations.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial and operational efficiency.
Analyse operational reports to highlight risks, concerns, and opportunities for improvement.
Prepare month-end financials including accruals, journals, and reconciliations, ensuring alignment with business narratives.
Assist with year-end audits and liaise with external auditors and key stakeholders.
Uphold compliance with finance policies, procedures, and privacy requirements while supporting the finance team as needed.
Proactively identify risks to reputation, legal exposure, or safety, and act in accordance with SecondBite's policies and reporting protocols.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Finance Business Partner Should Have
Tertiary qualifications in accounting or finance
Qualified CPA, CA or other equivalent accounting professions
Proven success in a similar business partnering role
Not for Profit experience preferred but not essential
Experience in managing or supervising end to end Payroll process
Experience with the preparation of BAS, FBT, Franking Credits Return and government and non-government funding acquittal processes
Advanced Excel and other IT skills
