Job description

Our client is seeking a Senior Director of Strategic Finance who will lead the strategic financial planning and analysis functions to support key business decisions and drive financial performance. This leadership role requires expertise in financial strategy, investment analysis, and a strong ability to collaborate across various departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies to enhance organizational performance
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis to inform major business initiatives and investment opportunities
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes to ensure financial accuracy and integrity
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align financial goals with business objectives
  • Monitor financial performance metrics and recommend actions for improvement
  • Lead financial feasibility studies and investment assessments for new projects
  • Manage relationships with external financial partners and stakeholders
  • Mentor and guide finance team members to develop their skills and enhance team performance

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic financial management
  • Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex financial projects
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision making
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders
  • Proficient in financial software and advanced Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a consulting or executive search environment
  • Familiarity with corporate finance and investment strategies
  • Strong understanding of risk management and compliance issues in finance
