As our first Mobile Developer, you will lead the development of a mobile app that empowers healthcare workers, enabling them to provide life-changing services with ease. You will architect, build, and maintain the mobile app that supports homecare nurses and medical staff, especially in underserved areas with limited internet connectivity.

We are on a mission to save the healthcare system by making the complex simple. We are battling outdated documentation and reporting tools, by building a new cloud based patient system that will radically ease the way clinicians work and collaborate- from the ground up.

Our web app is live - now we want to build a mobile app that brings Aidn's advanced features to clinicians fingertips, even in challenging environments. Our goal is to enable healthcare workers to provide better care and improve the quality of life for more people, particularly helping them to live longer in their own homes.

This is your chance to be part of the largest investment in eHealth systems within Norwegian municipalities.

What You'll Do
This app is critical to our mission, as it supports healthcare professionals in their daily work, ensuring they can provide better care to more people. We believe that some typical tasks include:

  • Architect the future of our Aidn app: Plan, develop and maintain our core mobile app architecture, enabling our product teams to build functionality that help healthcare workers in their daily work.
  • Write high quality, scalable structure and components: Clean, well-tested and easy to maintain for long-term success with the use of React Native.
  • Make an impact with smart decisions: Balance speed, flow, performance and quality while keeping it simple. We know it’s hard, but we believe in you.
  • Make life of award-winning, beautiful, user friendly UI: Our design has been acknowledged by the red dot award, and we need you to work closely with our designers to help us to continue to deliver user friendly solutions and bring it to life.
  • Keep the app running securely: Aidn is the primary tool for our customers and part of their critical infrastructure. We need it to be running and we need it to be secure.
  • Streamline releases: Use CI/CD to build, publish and roll out updates.
  • Collaborate with others: We build one product and we need everyone to be able to collaborate once in a while in order to do so. Share insight, give and receive feedback and work together to build the best possible product.
  • Mentor and train others: You will be joining as one of our first mobile app developers and play a key role in building an app culture through mentoring and training other frontend engineers curious on app development.
