About the Role:As a Reservations & Customer Service Specialist, you will be the voice and heart of the hotel, providing exceptional service to potential and current guests. Youll handle inbound calls with finesse, empathy, and confidencetransforming interest into confirmed reservations and delivering a seamless experience that reflects our commitment to excellence. This is a remote position, but your impact will be felt directly at the hotel level every day. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer inbound calls from potential guests and use persuasive communication skills to convert inquiries into reservations.
  • Provide friendly, informed, and solutions-focused responses to current guests regarding hotel services, amenities, and general inquiries.
  • Utilize the Opera Hospitality System to manage and confirm reservations.
  • Use HotSos to assign and track housekeeping and maintenance duties, ensuring timely response to service requests.
  • Navigate VOIP phone systems with efficiency to manage call flow and deliver professional service.
  • Collaborate with hotel departments by directing calls appropriately and ensuring accurate information is relayed.
  • Uphold exceptional guest service standards, with an emphasis on hospitality, care, and proactive support.
  • Maintain a high call-to-booking conversion rate through effective listening, product knowledge, and persuasive sales techniques.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a front desk, reservations, or guest services role.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Opera PMS, HotSos, and VOIP phone systems is required.
  • Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
  • Persuasive sales approach with a customer-first mindset.
  • Ability to multi-task, stay organized, and remain calm under pressure.
  • Dependable with excellent attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in a remote environment with reliable internet and a quiet workspace.
