Job description

We are looking for an experienced German Comments Moderator.

Key Focus Areas:
  • Comment Moderation and Community Engagement:
  • Respond to 100% of comments that require engagement (excluding negative comments), ensuring around 30% of responses are non-template and contextually tailored;
    Maintain a friendly, respectful, and inclusive tone across all interactions to support a positive user experience;
    Create an open and safe community atmosphere in the comment sections on all trusted platforms.

  • Spam and Content Control:
  • Identify and block spam and inappropriate content promptly to preserve community integrity and platform standards;
    Ensure that comment sections remain relevant, engaging, and free from harmful or disruptive content.

  • Workflow and Scheduling:
  • Work according to a structured schedule to ensure timely moderation and consistent engagement across platforms.

    To do this, you will need:
  • You have C1-level proficiency in German with excellent written communication skills;
  • You possess at least B1–B2 level of English for internal communication and team collaboration;
  • You are confident using Facebook at a user level and understand how to navigate social media platforms;
  • You are proficient in Google Workspace tools, including Sheets, Docs, Gmail, and Google Meet;
  • You have previous experience in call centers, customer support, or social media moderation (preferred but not required);
  • You are detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing high volumes of comments with efficiency and empathy;
  • You thrive in a remote, structured work environment with scheduled hours and team coordination.
