Data Analytics Software Developer - XynQAPI

Under the guidance of the Senior Director and Associate Director of Data Science and in collaboration with the XynQAPI team, the Data Analytics Developer will be supporting monthly and bi-annual reporting tasks requiring data collection, processing, report generation and validation. This role will receive extensive training and will become a key member of a multidisciplinary team of software developers, physicians, epidemiologists and data scientist and will have an opportunity to participate in new analytic product development.

The position is remote and preference will be given to candidates based near to Omaha, NE or St. Louis, MO.

Responsibilities:

• Perform support tasks related to XynQAPI’s monthly production and bi-annual updates
• Monitor report execution and perform extensive validation
• Participate in report automation and quality improvement tasks
• Generate custom client reports
• As needed, implement incremental changes in the existing production code
• In collaboration with XynQAPI team, participate in development of new analytic solutions

Qualifications:

• BA in Computer science, health informatics or related technical field
• 2+ years of work experience in analytic or software roles
• Working/intermediate knowledge of R / R Server development
• Working knowledge of SQL (Salesforce SOQL is a plus)
• Experience with database management, data analysis, reporting and data visualization
• Experience with version control tools (preferably git)
• Experience with Healthcare Data, Disease Registries and EMRs is a plus
• Self-motivated, goal oriented, team player
• Ability to travel at will (Note that during the first 3-6 months, extensive travel may be required for extensive training)
