This is a remote position.
Role: Accountant
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Flexible from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Hawaii (Hawaii Standard Time)
Paid hours per week: 20 hours

The Accountant role focuses primarily on fixed assets, inter company transactions, and regulatory tax filings. This position is integral to the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of monthly journal entries. The role encompasses responsibilities in General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets. - Create and post complex journal entries
- Perform AR reconciliation and resolve uncleared income issues
- Match previous year's tax returns to balance sheets
- Review and validate bookkeepers' work
- Create adjusting journal entries
- Ensure accuracy of financial statements
