What You Will Do:

This role involves managing the procurement of Externals and Tubes hardware for Pratt & Whitney’s Mechanical Systems External and Nacelles (MSEN) division, with a focus on high-volume critical parts and delivery assurance execution. Key skill sets needed are data analysis, inventory management across multiple customers to satisfy both OEM and MRO need and ability to juggle multiple tasks, prioritize urgent items and keep track of deadline for a large number of components.

  • Procurement of Externals and Tubes within the Mechanical Systems External and Nacelles (MSEN) for a variety of Pratt & Whitney products
  • Supplier management of on-time delivery, leading indicator metrics, and capacity ramp plans
  • Cross functional coordination between Quality, Materials, Continuous Improvement, Production Readiness, Industrial, Programs, Engineering, MCL, ESA, and multiple suppliers
  • Strong project management skills to ensure successful execution of tactical plans and product transitions
  • Holding the suppliers and Pratt & Whitney team members equally accountable to meet the milestone plan committed to the customer
  • Conduct Standard Product Purchasing, including order placement, coordinating demand and scheduling, supplier relationship management and delivery assurance
  • Comply with all aspects of the Pratt & Whitney Procurement Manual, GSC Standard Work, UTC Code of Ethics, International Trade Compliance, & Transition Standard Work (TSW)

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, or related field and 8 years of experience; OR an advanced degree with 5 years of experience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Qualifications we prefer:

  • Experience in Procurement or Supply Chain Management: Previous experience in procurement and delivery assurance, particularly with high-volume parts and supplier management, is highly valuable. Applicable experience in other related fields will be considered.
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems: Experience using ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or similar to manage procurement and inventory processes.
  • Experience with data analysis tools and techniques to forecast demand, optimize inventory, and monitor supplier performance.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
