Position Overview

As our Webstore Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the strategy, performance, and day-to-day operations of our e-commerce store. You’ll own the customer journey from first click to checkout, ensuring a seamless experience that reflects our brand, drives conversion, and fuels our global growth.

In close collaboration with our operations team, finance team and digital marketing team, your entrepreneurial mindset will help drive an increase in direct sales, deliver a worldclass customer experience and grow the impact of this channel on our overall business.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the e-commerce arm of a high-growth business where innovation, ownership, and pace are part of everyday life.

Key responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the company’s webstore across multiple international markets

  • Optimize the store for usability, performance, conversion rate, and customer satisfaction

  • Oversee product launches, merchandising, and content updates in coordination with the marketing and product teams

  • Manage webstore analytics, monitor and increase KPIs (traffic, conversion, possible B2B leads, etc.), and identify opportunities for growth

  • Lead A/B testing and UX improvements to enhance the shopping experience

  • Collaborate with logistics, operations, and customer success teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and post-purchase experience

  • Stay on top of industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies in e-commerce

  • Ensure SEO best practices and performance optimization are implemented throughout the store

  • Partner with the Channel Sales director to minimize channel conflict and support overall growth of the Axelera and channel business

Qualifications:

  • 3–5+ years of experience managing an e-commerce store, preferably for a tech or consumer electronics brand

  • Proven track record of growing online sales and improving key web metrics

  • Strong understanding of UX/UI, CRO, and digital marketing fundamentals

  • Experience with Shopify a plus, other e-commerce platforms like WooCommerce, Magento, or similar required

  • Data-driven mindset with proficiency in Google Analytics, heatmapping tools, and e-commerce dashboards

  • Solid project management skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally

  • Global mindset – experience with international e-commerce, currencies, and localization is a strong plus

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and comfort in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment

  • Native or near-native English speaking abilities

Location

We offer a flexible working arrangement, with options to: 

  • Work from one of our Axelera AI offices (Florence and Milan in Italy, Amsterdam and Eindhoven in the Netherlands) if you're already based in the vicinity. 

  • Work fully remotely from any European country (incl. the UK) you are already in. 

Please note the preference will be given to the Italy and Netherlands-based talent.
