Global Engineering and Technology (GET) is seeking qualified applicants for the position of System Engineer / Archer EGRC SME to join our cybersecurity team supporting a critical U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) national security site. This is a highly compensated, high-responsibility technical guidance position that is central to our national security mission's success. This is a full-time position as a GET employee with paid leave and benefits.
Compensation Range: $135,000 - $170,000 / Year (depending on experience and skill set)

System Engineer / Archer EGRC SME Duties:
As part of the Cybersecurity team supporting the Y-12 National Security Complex, the System Engineer / Archer EGRC SMEis the principal party responsible for installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining EGRC Archer system hybrid architecture, both bare metal and PaaS, in addition to administering EGRC Archer system accounts to create, track, and report workflows and approvals.
Requirements
Security Clearance
This position requires an active DOE "Q" or DoD "Top Secret" security clearance
Required Education and Experience
- 5+ years serving as a subject matter expert (SME) in Archer EGRC in a NIST/FISMA security-cleared environment
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 5+ years of Systems Engineer/Administrator experience
- Associate's degree in a technical field and 10+ years of Systems Engineer/Administrator experience
- Pertinent certifications and military training may be considered toward academic degree requirement
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Knowledge in installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining EGRC Archer system hybrid architecture: both bare metal and PaaS
- Knowledge of the National Institute of Standards and Technologies (NIST) risk management framework and family of controls
- Knowledge and a thorough understanding of principles with regard to Archer domains
- Knowledge of supporting risk management through risk identification, risk assessment, risk decisions, risk treatment, risk monitoring, and organizational context
- Skill in facilitating EGRC Archer interoperability and integration efforts with internal and external customers from on-premise and cloud service platform
- Skill in presentation and technical and operational competence to support day-to-day operations: IT environment optimizations, workflow analysis, environment updates, technology alignment, incident workflow development, and configuring reporting requirements
- Skill in supporting control assessment management and compliance (including common controls)
- Skill in automating and supporting policy management authoring, staff communication and awareness, and established process for exceptions
- Skill in reporting and delivering metrics for lifecycle authorization and FISMA requirements
- Skill in the design, installation, configuration, and deployment expertise of the EGRC Archer solution
- Ability to administer EGRC Archer system accounts and to create, track, and report workflows and approvals
- Ability to apply cybersecurity and privacy principles to organizational requirements (relevant to confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, non-repudiation)
- Ability to coordinate system requirements and changes with Y-12 and cloud practitioner team
- Ability to install, configure, deploy, and maintain the assessment and authorization module, regulatory and corporate compliance module, and other Archer capabilities
- Ability to conduct and support testing and quality assurance procedures for configured solutions
- Ability to coordinate EGRC Archer application configuration, use cases, and ability to provide expert technical support to enterprise-wide cybersecurity program staff
- Ability to establish real-time reporting and dashboards across the spectrum of EGRC Archer installed modules
- Ability to synchronize with staff to gather required information to adjust or enable the architecture, implementation, integration, and support for Archer capabilities in support of the cybersecurity program
