Gregory Yeutter is the CEO of Restful, a lighting and wellness company dedicated to improving sleep and productivity through thoughtfully designed consumer tech products. Based in San Francisco, Gregory brings a background in sales, engineering, and product management at leading tech companies and has founded three businesses in the lighting space. Restful is a bootstrapped startup preparing for venture capital funding to accelerate its mission of helping 1 million people sleep better by the end of 2028.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant who aligns with the company's Core Values. You'll help streamline communication, keep meetings and projects on track, and take administrative tasks off our CEO's plate so he can focus on growth and innovation.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in being highly organized and clear in their communication. It's important that you can identify gaps and opportunities, support big-picture thinking, and help keep the team aligned.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing, organizing, and sending meeting agendas and prep notes
  • Handling follow-ups from meetings including task assignments, scheduling, and documentation
  • Assisting with project coordination and helping keep projects on track
  • Writing SOPs, making process improvement recommendations, and supporting executive operations
  • Managing calendar conflicts and rescheduling as needed
  • Overseeing basic email management and summarizing important items for our CEO
  • Providing updates on the state of the business and progress of ongoing projects
  • Reinforcing team alignment with principles and highlighting positive behaviors
  • Assisting with social media support (posting and updating content)

In addition to the above, the ideal candidate must be/have:

  • Excellent writing skills, both verbal and written
  • Organized, structured, and detail-oriented
  • Confident with fast follow-up and keeping things moving
  • Self-starter with a problem-solving mindset
  • Able to help others come to meetings prepared and follow through on commitments
  • Proactive communicator who keeps others in the loop
  • Able to switch between big-picture thinking and handling day-to-day details
  • Comfortable working with a fast-moving, hands-on founder who values collaboration, has high standards, and expects high performance
  • Adaptable and willing to jump in, even when things aren't fully figured out
  • You must be tech savvy and quick to pick up new tools and software

Experience with the following tools is a plus!

Position Details

  • This is a 1099 contractor position
  • The position will be 20-25 hours per week
  • Preferred hours are 7:00-10:00 am PST, with the remaining hours being flexible
  • The pay rate is $25/hr USD
  • You must be able to pass a background check
  • We're looking for someone to become a long-term (3+ years) team member
