Summary: The Sales Account Manager – Commercial will be working as part of the Powders team, you will assume day-to-day management of Commercial accounts within the Luxfer Magtech business sector. The main purpose of the role is to maintain and grow the sales volume, revenue and profit of defined accounts by working closely with the sales, technical, manufacturing and supply chain teams. You will be expected to bring a positive approach and be prepared to travel extensively within the U.S. with occasional international travel. Great base pay + yearly bonus potential + phone allowance! Travel is 30 – 50%. Job Training for a few weeks on site to learn the technology!
Main responsibilities:
Manage the business relationship with both established and prospective accounts
Conduct regular meetings through site visits, tradeshows, and industry association meetings to facilitate growth
Understand and interpret technical requirements, recommend products and negotiate commercial terms (price, volume, payment, delivery terms) in line with business targets
Provide accurate monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts based on customers’ projections and understanding of customers’ products and trends in end markets and applications
Achieve financial targets in line with the company’s budget
Accountable for pricing implementation and handling customer complaints
Utilize Salesforce CRM to manage and track leads and opportunities
Coordinate and communicate with Customer Service, Production, Supply Chain (e.g. S&OP) and other departments such as Quality, Research & Development and Accounting
Assist Accounts Receivable in collecting past due payments as needed
Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, engineering, or related field
Previous experience in sales role within the p0wdered metals

Experience using Salesforce.com, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint
