This is a remote position.

We take lots of cool conversational tech and make it accessible to non-technical users (our customers) to build AI Agents that automate customer conversations with natural language understanding, machine learning, propensity identification, conversational payments and lots more.


What the job involves

As a DevOps / Senior Software Engineer, you will drive the integration of development and operational processes to enhance the stability and reliability of our software solutions.

By working closely with cross-functional teams, you will lead efforts to automate processes, resolve critical bugs, and implement enhancements that meet business and technical requirements. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the visibility and reliability of our Continuous integration and software development processes while also supporting the overall stability and reliability of our platform.


Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain our release processes to streamline deployments and ensure consistent, reliable software releases.

  • Automate deployment processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

  • Identify, diagnose, and fix bugs in both frontend and backend systems, improving system stability and performance.

  • Evaluate and enhance the scalability and robustness of system architectures to support growing application demands.

  • Set up and manage monitoring tools to proactively detect and resolve reliability risks, maintaining system performance in alignment with SLAs.

  • Serve as a key member of the incident response team, providing support to resolve platform issues quickly and effectively.

  • Conduct root cause analysis for incidents and implement preventive measures.

  • Continuously seek out and implement improvements in tools, processes, and techniques to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Document processes, procedures, and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing and operational consistency.


Requirements
  • Expert in programming with JavaScript, proficient with DevOps tools and cloud platforms (AWS) and experienced with [Node js, React and Other Languages].

  • Exceptional problem solving and troubleshooting skills, with a strong ability to address complex software and systems issues, and a proactive attitude towards learning and implementing new technologies.

  • Minimum of 5 years in software development, including significant experience in debugging and optimising complex systems, ideally with time in a DevOps role.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

  • A proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement, with a drive to explore new technologies and methodologies to enhance system reliability and efficiency.

  • A proven history of writing testable, maintainable and scalable code.

  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker).

  • Fluent communicator in English, both verbal and written.

  • Successful applicants must be based in the EU and have the legal right to work in the EU
