This is a remote position.

Job Description: Virtual Assistant for Logistics Operations


Schedule

  • Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm Wilmington, DE time with an hour unpaid break

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the booking of loads for transportation
  • Track and oversee daily operational tasks
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned tasks
  • Collaborate with team members and clients to facilitate smooth logistics operations
  • Utilize logistics software and tools to monitor task progress and completion
  • Assist in developing and implementing strategies to improve operational efficiency
  • Maintain accurate records and generate reports on logistics activities

Requirements

  • Experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field (1-2 years preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and task management
  • Proficiency in using logistics software and Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting
  • Adaptability to learn new software tools and technologies quickly
  • Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues
