Job Description:

As a Network Security Analyst within Phreesia’s Security Operations team, you’ll join a dynamic learning environment where continuous improvement and professional development are fundamental to our success. In this role, you’ll not only contribute to maintaining and enhancing our organization’s security posture but also participate in our collaborative learning culture through knowledge sharing, mentoring and innovative problem-solving. While managing critical responsibilities in Zscaler administration and Microsoft o365 Security, you’ll have opportunities to expand your expertise through hands-on experience, structured training programs and cross-functional projects.

As part of our security operations team, you’ll contribute to our collective intelligence by documenting lessons learned, participating in security awareness programs, and helping build our knowledge base while protecting our network infrastructure and maintain our compliance requirements. 

Shift time: 11:00AM - 8:00PM (the shift time may vary depending on the team) 

Weekly Rejuvenation breaks - Saturday & Sunday 

Job Responsibilities:

Security Administration and Monitoring

  • Mange and configure Zscaler security platform to enforce cloud security policies and access control 
  • Monitor network security events and analyze potential threats in real-time 
  • Implement and maintain Microsoft o365 features and access management protocols 
  • Execute advanced security incident response and threat mitigation procedures 

Technical Operations and Analysis

  • Perform detailed packet inspection and network forensics investigations 
  • Conduct root cause analysis for complex network and security issues 
  •  Troubleshoot advanced system and network security problems across multiple platforms 
  • Analyze network traffic patterns to identify potential security vulnerabilities 

System Configuration and Maintenance 

  • Configure and optimize Zscaler proxy settings and security rules 
  • Administer Microsoft o365 user accounts, licenses, and security policies 
  •  Develop and maintain security documentation and standard operating procedures 
  • Deploy and update security tools and monitoring systems 

Education: Bachelor’s Degree – technology focus preferred 

Certifications: Zscaler Certifications are a bonus: ZDTA, ZDTE, ZDXA 

Experience, Knowledge & Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in software development, information security, technical support, cloud security, or information technology. With at least 2+ years of experience in security. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent documentation and design skills. 
  • Healthy collaboration and working relationship management skills to build an effective multi-functional team environment. 
  • Ability to prioritize various tasks and projects while thriving in a hands-on, collaborative environment.

Technology :

  • Ability to analyze security logs and network flows to detect suspicious activity. 
  • Must have a basic understanding of TCP/IP for stateful packet inspection and three-way handshakes. 
  • Must troubleshoot network issues using Wireshark, Traceroute, Zscaler ZDX, etc. to identify problems. 
  • Requires experience with o365 email security, mail flow transport rules and email records (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, BIMI, MX) troubleshooting. 
  • Should understand IPv4, IPv6, routing, DNS, load balancing, PAC files, proxies, and other layer 2-4 concepts 
  • Should understand SSL/TLS, HTTP/HTTPS, and other application protocols 

Other:

  • Interest in information security, a desire to contribute and learn more. 
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions.
