About the Role:

The Segment Manager will identify, develop, and execute on key strategic and operational opportunities that will develop go to market strategies that will increase market share in an increasingly competitive and fast-changing market.  You will work closely with the Intelligize Executive team to inform, design, and implement metrics and analysis that will help guide the business strategy and meet the commercial team’s business objectives.  The ideal candidate will drive insights through data analysis and identify strategic and GTM priorities to drive the business forward.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively facilitating and support sales teams with the contracting, redlining, pricing and vendor questionnaire process by liaising with appropriate teams.
  • Monitoring organization's market share and competition
  • Identifies new market opportunities (i.e., products/services, technologies, markets)
  • Analyzing pricing of promotions, programs, campaigns and provide recommendations.
  • Acting as a strategic partner to senior management by fulfilling ad hoc research requests.
  • Assisting in the development and delivery of presentations to communicate results and provide insights to drive business decisions
  • Supporting M&A projects by undertaking market analysis, target company analysis and revenue synergy modelling.
  • Providing information to support the business development portions of the business planning process.

Requirements:

  • Have relevant four-year college degree preferred, with a minimum of 5 years of related data analysis and professional experience
  • Be technical and professional knowledge of operating in a commercial or strategy role
  • Understand of key business drivers in the news or legal technology market is an advantage (preferred)
  • Have the ability to translate data into insights and develop recommendations that will drive revenue and profit impact.
  • Demonstrate great project management experience
  • Have excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills required; Tableau, Salesforce, Google Analytics and Microsoft Access skills preferred 
  • Be able to present complex strategic plans to both senior executives and outsourced resources and every audience in between
