Role Background:

Join a dynamic and forward-thinking company where you can make a significant impact in the financial landscape. We are seeking a dedicated Revenue Accountant to join our team remotely from Poland. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize and maintain revenue accounting systems and tools, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

  • Prepare and post journal entries for revenue transactions and adjustments.

  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations for revenue-related inquiries.

  • Conduct variance analysis to compare actual revenue against forecasts and budgets, identifying and explaining discrepancies.

  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue reconciliations to ensure all revenue is accurately reported.

  • Review sales contracts and agreements to determine appropriate revenue recognition in accordance with accounting standards.

  • Take responsibility for the revenue month-end close process.

  • Identify and investigate discrepancies or variances in revenue records, determine the root cause, and make necessary adjustments

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related fields.

  • Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles.

  • Proficiency in NetSuite accounting software and Microsoft products; comfortable with large data sets.

  • Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.

  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in reconciliations.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
