We are excited to add a Purchasing Flex Associate to our growing team! In this role, you will be part of an elite team that will go in and resolve critical backlogs that the company is experiencing. Every day you could experience something new, so you’ll need to be ready and excited to conquer the challenges of the day. The Purchasing Flex Associate plays a key role in supporting the purchasing team while also providing flexible assistance across key operational functions. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys learning new systems and processes, and is ready to pivot based on the department’s needs.

In addition to daily purchasing responsibilities, this person will be trained in areas such as account creation, internal testing, and team training, offering cross-functional support to help improve workflows and performance across the department. We look forward to adding you to our team!

Daily Tasks:

  • Learn and execute a variety of company-specific processes and tools, especially related to ticket purchasing.

  • Complete assigned daily purchasing tasks with accuracy and efficiency.

  • Report any blockers and work with your team, manager, and others in the company to get the support you need to succeed.

  • Provide backup support in areas like account creation, system testing, or internal training initiatives when needed.

  • Participate in troubleshooting meetings (as needed) to maximize the team’s success.

  • Give insights on any workflow changes you think should be made (if there is a faster way to operate, then let’s change our protocols!)

  • Take detailed thorough notes of your completed tasks for required documentation.

  • Adherence to your assigned schedule (we need to know when people are working so we can properly troubleshoot our backlogs; you are critical to our success here).

Qualifications:

  • Proficient at website navigation

  • Basic knowledge of how Excel and/or Google sheets

  • Attention to detail

  • Quick and accurate data entry - previous experience with data entry is a plus

  • Ability to own and manage your work to maintain deadlines

  • Must be reliable and on time

  • Must be willing and ready to learn

BONUS Qualifications

  • Experience with Macros and VPN’s/ proxies.

  • Experience with Airtable and Google sheet formulas.

  • Problem solving.

  • Recognizing patterns and trends.

  • Previous experience with cross-functional or support roles
