We are seeking a Linux Administrator in our Corporate Technology department. Veeams Corporate Technology department is the largest division responsible for Veeams operational processes (security management, procurement, sales acceleration, etc.). 

Your tasks will include: 
  • Managing Linux systems (production and development servers, both virtual and physical)
  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining a highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure
  • Developing and maintaining automation tools for deployment, monitoring, and incident response
  • Monitoring system health, identifying performance bottlenecks, and proactively resolving issues
  • Implementing observability best practices using logging, monitoring, and alerting tools
  • Handling user requests within your department’s area of competence
  • Participating in patch management and vulnerability response project 
What we expect from you: 
  • 3+ years of work experience
  • Proficient knowledge of OC Linux (experience administering RHEL/Oracle Linux is welcome) and networking
  • Professional experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Ansible 
  • Professional experience with mail systems
  • Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash)
  • Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Zabbix etc.)
  • English proficiency sufficient to communicate with international teams 
Will be an advantage: 
  • Experience with Terraform
  • Practical experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, etc.)
  • General knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS)
