Our client - a new Silicon Valley-based profitable B2C product company building innovative mobile solutions for the planet is now looking for an Automation QA Engineer

About project and the role:

Based in Silicon Valley and backed by top-tier VCs is a new mobile innovator delivering exciting new products for consumers across the planet.
The company has a flagship VPN application that drives ~10M MAUs. There are others in the portfolio as well as others in development.

Now we are looking for an experienced Automation QA Engineer. The ideal candidate has strong experience automating iOS applications, with additional experience in Android and/or Windows environments considered a significant advantage. Prior experience working in a VPN company or related industry is highly desirable.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Design, develop, and maintain automation test suites primarily for iOS applications.
Identify test scenarios, write detailed test cases, and execute automated test scripts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to ensure high-quality product releases.
Investigate automation test failures and contribute to efficient bug resolution.
Continuously improve automation frameworks and testing processes.
Extend test coverage to Android and Windows applications.

Requirements:

Proven experience in automation testing, with strong proficiency in iOS automation frameworks (XCUITest, Appium).
Familiarity with continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and source control systems (Git).
Experience with Android (Espresso, Appium) and/or Windows automation tools (WinAppDriver) is a strong plus.
Experience with analytics (Firebase, Google Analytics, etc.)
Hands-on experience with tools such as JMeter, Postman, and Charles.
Good understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Essential experience in automation testing with Java
Experience with DB and knowledge of SQL
