Currently, we have a Title Clearance Officer opportunity with a leading national settlement services company. This company is one of the largest independent full-service title insurance agencies in the country, offering commercial & residential title insurance, lien searches, settlement services, escrow services, recording services, and 1031 exchange services.

Your Specific Duties Will Include:

Reviewing and clearing purchase and refinance transactions for residential real estate.
Examining abstracts, leases, contracts, and legal documents to determine title insurance and legal issues.
Working directly with title agencies, clients, and attorneys to clear title exceptions and prepare for closing.
Preparing and/or reviewing Owner and Loan Policies for appropriate exceptions.
Processing and verifying title bills and invoices.
Managing high volumes of residential real estate transaction files nationwide.

Specific Qualifications for the Position Include:

5+ years of Title Curative/Title Clearance experience (Required).
Experience handling residential real estate title files nationwide, including New York (Required).
Experience with SoftPro Select – Preferred
Bachelor's degree (Preferred).
Experience with Surveys, Survey Readings, Real Estate Taxes, Recordings and Escrows

Pay Rate Range: $60,000 - $70,000 per year.
