As a Full Stack WordPress Developer at GeoComply, you will play a key role in maintaining and optimizing our corporate website as well campaign based websites we own.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack WordPress Developer to work with our IT and Marketing teams on a freelance basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end WordPress development, with the ability to create and maintain a high-performing, secure, and user-friendly corporate website. They must be available during standard Pacific Time Zone working hours.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain WordPress website and applications

Work closely with designers and content creators to ensure a cohesive user experience

Integrate third-party APIs and services with WordPress (e.g. Salesforce, Lever, Analytics tools)

Troubleshoot and resolve WordPress issues by working with Security, IT and Infrastructure teams on security protocols, database management and scalability planning

Conduct thorough testing and debugging of WordPress sites to ensure a flawless user experience

Ensure cross-browser compatibility and accessibility

Constantly monitor for bugs and optimize website performance

Customize WordPress themes and plugins

Perform website optimization, including improving site speed, performance, and SEO as requested

Stay up-to-date on the latest WordPress trends and technologies

Who You Are

3+ years of experience in WordPress development

Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP

Experience with website deployment and hosting processes

Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development

Experience with Git and version control systems

Experience with security tools such as VeraCode

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Advanced in English
