Job description

Summary:

CRI is searching for a Director of Operations for our Perkins Loan Servicing Contract. The Director of Operations ensures efficient resource allocation and compliance with FSA guidelines within the Perkins Loan Servicing Program. This role drives operational excellence, optimizes workflows, and supports a high level of borrower satisfaction.  This position is based in Lowell, Arkansas but can be 100 percent remote.

 Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations, managing front- and back-office processes

• Allocate staff and resources to meet service-level agreements (SLAs)

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve challenges and drive improvements

• Ensure compliance with FISMA, NIST, TCPA, 508, and other federal requirements

• Monitor key operational metrics to inform strategic decisions

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and borrower-focused service

 

Required Education and Experience Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field

• Extensive experience in operations leadership within a regulated or federal environment

• Knowledge of loan servicing or financial services operations

• Strong data-driven, decision-making and process improvement skills

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities

• Familiarity with compliance standards and quality frameworks

 

Preferred Education and Experience Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Operations Management, or related field

 

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills

• Strong computer skills (basic troubleshooting, fast and accurate typing, and using web browsers)

• Must possess reliable high-speed internet using a hard-wired ethernet connection
