Job Description

We are currently seeking a Senior Workday Tester to join our fast-growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, functionality, and performance of the Workday platform across multiple modules and integrations. You’ll be an essential player in quality assurance efforts—designing test strategies, validating configurations, and supporting the full lifecycle of Workday implementations and enhancements.

This role requires close collaboration with business analysts, Workday developers, functional stakeholders, and project managers to ensure high-quality deliverables in a dynamic, agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test plans for Workday configurations, business processes, and integrations

  • Conduct various types of testing including functional, regression, smoke, integration, and security testing

  • Validate data integrity, system performance, and workflow accuracy in line with business requirements

  • Identify, track, and report defects using standardized tools and processes

  • Create and maintain test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, traceability matrices, and test result summaries

  • Partner with business stakeholders to plan and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

  • Work closely with developers and analysts to troubleshoot issues and ensure resolution aligns with original requirements

  • Stay up to date on Workday release cycles and perform impact assessments on existing configurations

  • Provide quality gate approvals during deployment and production rollouts

  • Recommend testing best practices, automation strategies, and process improvements

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in QA or testing roles with a focus on Workday platform

  • In-depth knowledge of Workday HCM modules, integrations, and business process configuration

  • Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr, Jira, HP ALM)

  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and quality assurance frameworks

  • High attention to detail and a critical thinking mindset for identifying edge cases and risks

  • Experience in test automation frameworks is a strong plus (e.g., Selenium, Workday Extend, Kainos Smart)

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work across cross-functional global teams

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple test cycles and timelines

  • Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Workday Certification(s) in HCM or Integration modules

  • Experience in Enterprise-wide HRIS testing environments

  • Familiarity with SOX compliance, data privacy standards, or other regulated testing environments
