Job Description 

Our mission is to develop and enhance the company’s administrative platform to optimize our processes (sales, billing, distributor portals) and provide a seamless experience for both internal teams and external clients. We simplify workflows and strengthen self-service capabilities so that everyone can focus on what really matters. 

So, what will your new role look like?   

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to bring both technical leadership and hands-on experience, guiding our evolution from an operations-focused team into a true platform team. You’ll help unify and streamline our systems, reduce complexity, shape the future of our administrative platform, and coach the team. 

  • Collaborate & Strategize: Actively participate in the improvement of existing systems to meet the needs of our internal and external customers and help establish our technical roadmap. 
  • Optimize & Innovate: Continuously identify opportunities to reduce technical debt and improve operational workflows, ensuring higher efficiency and performance across the team. 
  • Continuously Improve: Drive improvements in code quality through reviews, testing methodologies, and coding standards aligned with organizational best practices. Identify and implement changes that reduce technical debt and enhance workflows—particularly those spanning multiple teams or platforms. 
  • Make technical decisions: Own key technical decisions, providing clarity in ambiguous scenarios and ensuring the team adopts a platform mindset—creating shared services that can evolve with the organization’s needs. Leverage your platform engineering experience to design solutions that streamline operations for all stakeholders. 
  • Deliver on our roadmap: Own key deliverables on our roadmap, work with the team to deliver high-quality features, and coach and mentor other developers along the way. 

A typical week?   

  • Researching, learning and developing (new and incremental value):  60%. 
  • Presenting and sharing knowledge with your colleagues (day-to-day delivery rituals): 20%. 
  • Helping and supporting teams to improve their development experience (individual & collective growth): 20%.

 The Billing Platform team is part of the Technology group which brings together talented professionals, including developers and a solutions architect. As organizational needs continue to grow, the team is expanding to keep delivering effective and innovative solutions.

  • Evolve into a Platform Team: Unify our processes and technologies to better support the entire company. 
  • Strengthen Self-Service Capabilities: Provide more autonomy to users and simplify their experience. 
  • Streamline the Administrative Ecosystem: Reduce complexity and standardize Workleap’s tools for greater efficiency and consistency. 
Qualifications 
  • Proficient in C# and frontend development (e.g., React or Angular);
  • Experience building web apps in the cloud and are familiar with Microsoft Azure or an equivalent platform (AWS, Google Cloud);
  • Experience with designing services or systems at scale that support multiple products or departments;
  • Mentor other developers and have a record of driving operational improvements, alongside technical competencies;
  • Proficient in architecting and consuming APIs at scale, ensuring robust integrations with third-party and internal services; 
  • Experience implementing best practices around monitoring, observability, and incident management to ensure reliable and high-performing systems.
