About the Role

 Boldin is seeking a  Social Media & Video Specialist to drive our content strategy across social platforms and YouTube. This hybrid role blends social media management, content creation, and video production to engage our audience with high-quality, informative, and visually compelling content. The ideal candidate is passionate about personal finance and self-improvement/actualization and has a proven track record of growing brands through social media and video content. This is a remote position. 

Key Responsibilities  

Social Media Strategy & Content Execution 

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with Boldin’s brand and marketing goals.
  • Plan, create, and schedule engaging, high-quality content (graphics, videos, and written posts) for LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Reddit, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Optimize posting schedules based on data-driven insights to maximize reach and engagement.
  • Write captivating captions, headlines, and call-to-actions tailored to each platform.
  • Monitor and engage with followers, influencers, and industry conversations to build a loyal community.
  • Proactively respond to comments, messages, and mentions while maintaining Boldin’s brand voice.

Video Production & YouTube Growth 

  • Ideate, produce, and edit high-quality, engaging videos for YouTube and social media, including tutorials, explainers, interviews, and thought leadership content.
  • Collaborate with the content team to create compelling video scripts and direct talent for impactful video delivery.
  • Design eyecatching thumbnails, animations, and motion graphics to enhance video engagement.
  • Manage color correction, audio balancing, and other postproduction enhancements to maintain a polished final product.
  • Implement YouTube SEO best practices, including keywordrich titles, descriptions, and tags.
  • Research and apply trending topics, formats, and styles in the finance and fintech space.
  • Analyze video performance metrics and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Performance Tracking & Growth Optimization  

  • Track and report on key social media and video performance metrics (follower growth, engagement, reach, conversions, video watch time, retention rates, etc.).
  • Use analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, Twitter Analytics, Google Analytics, Sprout Social, YouTube Studio, etc.) to measure success and optimize strategy.
  • Conduct A/B testing on content types, posting times, and ad creatives to refine engagement strategies.
  • Stay updated on emerging social media and video trends to recommend new opportunities for growth.

What We’re Looking For  

  • A passion for and deep knowledge of personal finance and self-improvement.
  • 2-5 years of experience managing social media and video content for a brand, startup, or agency.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Reddit, YouTube, etc.).
  • Proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar.
  • Experience creating educational, explainer, or storytelling-driven content (finance industry a plus).
  • Knowledge of YouTube algorithms, SEO, and audience engagement strategies.
  • Graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Suite) for creating visually appealing content.
  • Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills, with a keen sense of brand tone.
  • Hands-on experience with social media management tools.
  • Ability to analyze metrics and trends to inform content decisions.

It is a plus if you have 

  • Experience in fintech, personal finance, or financial services.
  • Familiarity with influencer marketing and partnerships.
  • Basic animation and motion graphics skills.
  • Experience with YouTube analytics and A/B testing strategies.
  • CFP license or deep experience in personal finance or life coaching is a plus.

Compensation Range: $2500-$5000/Month
