Schedule:

  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM Arizona Time

Responsibilities
  • Master the preparation of complex individual (1040) and corporate (1120) tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Conduct thorough reviews and analyses of financial records to guarantee precise tax reporting
  • Stay at the forefront of tax law changes, continuously updating your knowledge to provide cutting-edge tax advice
  • Utilize QuickBooks and other advanced accounting software for comprehensive financial data analysis
  • Develop and deliver strategic tax planning advice to clients, helping them optimize their financial positions
  • Take the lead in resolving complex tax-related issues and responding to IRS inquiries with expertise and professionalism
  • Contribute innovative ideas to enhance the firm’s tax preparation processes and best practices

Requirements
  • 5-10 years of proven experience in US tax preparation, demonstrating a track record of handling complex tax situations
  • Mastery in preparing both 1040 (individual) and 1120 (corporate) tax returns
  • In-depth knowledge of US tax laws and regulations, with a commitment to staying current on changes and updates
  • Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and other tax preparation software
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA certification strongly preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail coupled with strong analytical skills
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to clients
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure, particularly during tax seasons
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively within the bounds of tax law
  • Team player with the capacity to work independently when required
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professional ethics and confidentiality
