Job description

Overview

This role is designed to provide crucial support across multiple functions, transitioning from quoting assistant to quality assurance. The selected candidate will start by learning the quoting process, supporting the production team during a team members maternity leave and gaining expertise in agency workflows. Once maternity leave coverage ends, the role will shift focus to quality assurance, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in policy files and system data.

  • Work from home until further notice
  • Monday to Friday | 9:30 PM to 6:30 AM

    Responsibilities

    Phase 1: Quoting & Production Support

    • Assist in new business quoting and proposal preparation.
    • Support the production team by managing tasks and data entry.
    • Gain proficiency in agency systems and processes.
    • Provide coverage for the Production Assistant role during maternity leave.
    • Assist in renewal preparation and policy documentation.

    Phase 2: Transition to Quality Assurance

    • Conduct audits on active policy files to ensure accuracy and completeness.
    • Identify and resolve data discrepancies in Salesforce and carrier systems.
    • Ensure newly bound policies are clean and complete before transitioning to service teams.
    • Review and update property details in Salesforce using inspection reports and property appraiser data.
    • Close out outdated opportunities and improve system visibility.
    • Implement a structured renewal questionnaire process for long-term data accuracy.

    Qualifications

    • Experience in insurance quoting, policy processing, or a related field preferred.
    • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
    • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and transition between tasks efficiently.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
    • Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving responsibilities.
