Position Overview:
Mob is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Intellectual Property Enforcement Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including conducting trademark searches, filing copyright registrations, monitoring the company’s trademarks and copyrights globally, maintaining an IP database, and combating counterfeit products across major gaming platforms. The role also involves coordinating with external anti-counterfeit firms, assisting with legal matters, and supporting other administrative duties as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Trademark and Copyright Monitoring:
   

• Conduct preliminary trademark searches to ensure the availability of marks.
• Assist in monitoring Mob's trademarks and copyrights worldwide to ensure protection and compliance.

• Assist in filing copyright registrations for Mob’s works across different jurisdictions.

• Maintain and update the company’s intellectual property database to track trademarks, copyrights, and related documentation.

• Identify and report counterfeit products on major gaming platforms, including iOS, Google Play, Roblox, and Epic Games.
• Collaborate with legal teams, platform providers, and external firms to take down counterfeit listings and products.
• Send DMCA take down notices

1. Collaboration with Anti-Counterfeit Firms:
   

• Work with and coordinate efforts with anti-counterfeit firms and tools utilized by Mob to enforce IP rights.

• Assist with drafting and reviewing nondisclosure agreements (NDAs) and other legal documents.
• Provide support for file management, documentation organization, and other legal administrative tasks as needed

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Strong Organizational Skills:
   

• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously with a high level of efficiency and accuracy.

• A keen eye for detail when reviewing documents, trademarks, copyrights, and managing IP records.

• Able to quickly understand new concepts, tools, and technologies, especially related to intellectual property enforcement.

• Strong research abilities to conduct trademark searches, monitor IP infringement, and investigate counterfeit activities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with external teams, report findings, and assist in legal matters.

• A basic understanding of intellectual property law or a strong desire to learn and grow in this field.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive).
• Experience with Jira and Confluence is a plus.

• A college degree or paralegal certificate is required. Additional legal or IP-related coursework or certifications are a plus.

1. Languages

• While English does not need to be your first language, it’s imperative that you speak and write in English at an advanced level. Speaking Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus!
