Job description

Tameson is more than just an online store for industrial products. Our goal is to make it as easy as possible to find the best products for your project. We accomplish this through our website, service, and product offerings. We focus heavily on clear product advice and a smooth selection process. This is reflected in our high customer reviews—and we’re very proud of that.

We’re scaling significantly, and to support this growth we’re looking for a remotely based Product Data & Catalog Manager.

Your Role

As our Product Data & Catalog Manager you’ll be at the heart of how our customers experience our product range. You’ll take ownership of our product categorization and data structure, ensuring that our vast catalog is intuitive, searchable, and user-friendly. Your work will directly impact our customers' ability to find the right components with confidence.

Here’s what a typical week might look like:

  • Collaborate with your product data processing colleagues to gather and structure information for a product launch involving 5,000 new solenoid valves—developing a new category structure that makes sense to our users.

  • Reviewing and improving a data sheet, produced by our graphical designer for a new line of ball valves.

  • Review and refine product filters and attribute data based on A/B test results to improve usability and conversion.

  • Meet with the marketing team to align on category titles and descriptions that balance SEO performance with a seamless user experience.

What You'll Do
  • Take full ownership of new product launches—from planning to execution and review

  • Develop and maintain a smart, scalable category structure for our product catalog

  • Improve and optimize how users navigate the site and find what they need

  • Collaborate with product data managers, Front-End designers, and IT developers to improve product data and category user experience
