A large part of the success of Ironhack depends on our engaged, mission-driven, highly effective teams. The Talent Acquisition is a critical role to ensure we have a world-class recruiting system that attracts, engages, and acquires top talent across all our markets.

We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition who will fill a variety of roles, ranging from key executives to individual contributors, while working with the People team to develop scalable recruitment processes. The Talent Acquisition will report to our Head of People based in Madrid or remote based in Spain.

The Talent Acquisition will be responsible for:

  • Hiring roles at all levels, across all global locations.
  • Owning the end-to-end hiring process, including:
    • Alignment with stakeholders on role expectations
    • Job description creation and publishing on our ATS (Teamtailor)
    • Sourcing candidates, reviewing applications, and conducting screening interviews
    • Coordinating and reviewing case study assignments and department interviews
    • Participating in offer negotiations
    • Conducting reference/background checks
    • Ensuring proper handoff for onboarding
  • Creating customized recruitment plans per role/department, including case studies, job descriptions, and interview questions
  • Proactively sourcing candidates on LinkedIn and other job boards
  • Providing weekly reports to hiring managers on a timely basis regarding their candidate pipelines
  • Conducting recruitment strategy meetings with Hiring Managers to ensure a complete understanding of the job requirements, candidate profiles, key qualifications/requirements, as well as future hiring needs
  • Conducting compensation calibration per role to ensure proper budgeting + salary ranges
  • Managing our ATS (Teamtailor) and the content in our Job Portal
  • Managing our external providers: ATS, external recruiting agencies, etc.
  • Being the owner of the candidate experience: obtaining feedback from candidates, new hires, hiring managers, and utilizing data to refine and improve the processes over time
  • Working with stakeholders to determine high-flight risk employees and proactively build pipelines when necessary.



#Is this you? (Requirements)

  • 3+ years of high-volume sourcing and recruiting experience
  • Proven experience hiring key roles in a short timeframe
  • Familiarity with ATS systems (Greenhouse, Recruitee, or Teamtailor preferred) and setting up recruitment flows
  • Extensive experience with offer proposals and contract negotiation
  • Strong communication skills (written and spoken) required. Professional working fluency in English is required; fluency in a second language strongly preferred (Spanish, French or German)
  • Encouraged by challenges and enjoy having tons of autonomy with no bureaucratic BS
  • A do-er -you’re getting stuff done
