Position

We are currrently looking for a Senior Accountant (m/f/d) who will be responsible for:

Managing technical accounting matters, including reviewing accounts and incoming and outgoing invoices.
Performing daily accounting tasks, including month-end and year-end closing processes, and preparing account reconciliations.
Collaborating with external accounting service providers and independent auditors.
Handling correspondence with tax consultants and providing support in preparing tax declarations.
Addressing day-to-day queries and managing the finance email inbox.
Participating in external reporting to local regulatory authorities and to EIT.
Involvement in internal audits for EIT RawMaterials, prioritizing requests for information from local regulatory bodies, and taking follow-up actions to ensure timely and high-quality responses.
Supporting the department with other administrative tasks.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

A master’s degree with a focus on economics, accounting and finance.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting at an international level, particularly in public-funded and regulated organizations, is an advantage.
Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
Proficiency in office and accounting software (particularly DATEV and excellent MS Excel skills).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in both English and German.
