Salary Range:
up to 2500 USD

Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (EST)

About the Company:

Sagan represents a real estate investment and property management group managing a portfolio of approximately 350 homes. The internal team values reliability, strong financial insight, and structured processes to support its operations across multiple entities.

Position Overview:

Were seeking an experienced Accountant to manage the general ledger, monthly close, and reporting functions for two entities within a growing real estate investment portfolio. This role will play a key part in producing timely financial reports, maintaining accounting accuracy, and supporting internal and external stakeholders with clean, actionable data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledgers for two entities.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements.
  • Manage bank reconciliations and cash flow tracking.
  • Deliver internal reports for leadership and property managers.
  • Assist with lender and investor reporting as needed.
  • Ensure timely data entry and journal entries in QuickBooks or equivalent software.
  • Support audit preparation and year-end close processes.


Qualifications:

  • Strong accounting skills and knowledge of GAAP accounting.
  • 3+ years of professional accounting experience.
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks (or equivalent accounting software).
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, reconciliations).
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong understanding of accounting workflows and reporting.


Nice-to-Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
  • Experience working in real estate, investment management, or property operations.
  • Prior experience managing accounting for multiple entities.
